Frequently asked questions.



  • How many musicians should we book? The more musicians in a "Batucada" the 'bigger' & 'more impressive' the sound. You should consider the type of venue that is holding your event & whether it is indoors or outdoors. However, we can guarantee that whatever you choose, you'll receive great value & superb entertainment!


  • Does the band carry its own sound system?  This is a lively Brazilian percussion band, so a sound system is not required. However, in the case of a stage show we do normally add a vocalist & cavaquinho (small stringed guitar), so we would recommend checking with us on enquiry.


  • Are there any sound restrictions? Your venue will be able to advise on the sound restrictions for your event. Please make sure you let us know when booking the 'Batucada' & we will cater to this. This may restrict but will not affect the quality of the performance.


  • Does the DJ carry their own sound system?  No, but if required this can be arranged at an additional cost, but we always recommend discussing this with us before booking.


  • Do you have more conservative costumes? We do have more conservatives costumes available on request & even fully covered varieties as requested for some international shows in the Middle East.


  • Special requests: We are very flexible & experienced at adapting our performance to take advantage of the moment & the reaction of the crowd. We will actively encourage audience participation & are guaranteed to give a memorable performance. All of our artists & DJ's are happy to perform special requests with advanced notice. Please advise us before your booking is confirmed.


  • Safety & changing facilities: Due to the big plumed costumes, our dancers will need easy access to the performance area & it is required that it is free of obstacles that may pose a security or fire risk. Also, our artists will require separate changing facilities. We will advise of any further requirements, such as parking etc. before confirming your booking.


  • When will you arrive to set up? We normally prefer to arrive at least an hour & a half before the event so that we can set up the equipment & change. For bespoke productions, live cabaret performances or bands please get in touch. 


  • Refreshments? The artists would gratefully appreciate food & refreshments when working long hours as they might not have access to local facilities.


  • Performance times: Due to the time it takes to pack away & travel home, we can only perform for the times indicated within the contract. As we are experienced entertainers, we will ensure that the performance starts & ends at the correct time. Whilst some flexibility can be accommodated within the contracted times, in general, the performance schedule must be adhered to.


  • What about the price? The performance details will vary according to your requirements, so the price may vary considerably depending on the number of performers, duration, etc. We always take detailed information about your event before providing you with an accurate quotation of costs plus any travelling expenses. This is the price you pay with no other hidden costs!


  • No hidden costs? If your event is outside London you may have to meet extra travel expenses for the group, instruments & costumes, which we have set rates for. These expenses pay for van hire, petrol, insurance & (where applicable) overnight accommodation. It can be an expensive business travelling to & from venues so it is imperative that the group can recoup these expenses.


  • Do you give discounts? We do offer reductions on multiple bookings & occasionally have special offers available for charity events & venues where we perform on regular basis. Please contact us for further information.


  • Payment: All bookings must be secured with a deposit. We will invoice you for this and payment can be made by bank transfer or by cheque. A final payment will be required on the day of the event prior to commencing the show, therefore allowing you to enjoy your event hassle free.


  • Peace of mind? We support all bookings through contracts & once we receive a securing deposit, your booking is guaranteed. All of our performers are professionals & reliable. even in case of sickness, we will provide suitable replacements so as to not affect the performance. We have the experience to ensure your event is a complete success.


  • What are we getting for our money?We pride ourselves in every aspect of our service - from enquiry to performance. As you will soon discover, we provide the very best with a professional service.   • What if we need to cancel or amend a booking? Just contact us & we will be able to discuss this with you.


  • International show requirementsPrice per performer per day / Transfers / Accommodation / Per Diem or three meals a day / Visas .
